Air Conditioning in humid weather

Air Conditioning in humid weather

Did you know…that in humid hot weather your air conditioner has to run longer?  The air conditioner first has to remove the humidity before it can cool the air.  The air must be dry before it can be cooled.  So in our hot rainy season your air conditioner will longer because of the humidity. But…if your conditioner runs and never shuts off please call.  It needs to be looked at.  Just another piece of information if out temperatures start hitting 100° or higher,  the air conditioner can only get the indoor air temperature approximately 20 degrees lower than the outdoor temperature and the unit will run until the sun goes down.  Please call if you have any questions.
